I am currently the CalWIN Training Coordinator for the human services agency in the County of Santa Cruz. I also am the liaison for our agency's training contract with C.C. Davis and am responsible for the coordination of training for over 600 employees.
Counties I have worked in include San Bernardino, Kern and Santa Cruz. For the past 12 years I have worked as an Eligibility and Staff Development Professional. In addition to NEW, I am a member of the National Staff Development Trainers Association (NSDTA) and I am involved in the planning of the NSDTA 2003 National Conference.
Being a member of NEW has made working in my profession a joy. The networking has been an asset and has helped strengthen my knowledge and professionalism. In January 2002 I had the good fortune to present a workshop at the State Conference "Empowering Employees to do Their Best". Thank you for voting for me to be on this great board and I will continue to be an advocate for this organization.
