San Joaquin Chapter NEW: PATHS

The San Joaquin County Chapter of NEW: PATHS celebrated our Employee Appreciation Week, October 19th thru October 23rd, 2009. 

Monday, the 26th, our chapter joined funds with our Employee Management Council in presenting all agency employees with a “WOW” “Wonderful Outstanding Worker” bag, lots of chocolate candy inside. 

Tuesday the 27th, our chapter received a Proclamation from our Board of Supervisors.  This was presented to us by Mr. Joe Chelli, our Director, at our NEW: PATHS presentation.

UC Davis sponsored speaker, Mr. John Parker, did four sessions of; Sealegs for Balancing Your Life and Work.  They were wonderful motivational and educational 90 minutes meshed together with laughter and learning.  WOW!  John was great!  We can’t wait to for him to return.

For those of you who do not know, UC Davis will pay their wonderful speakers to do presentations at your counties, if they are NEW: PATHS Sponsored events.  THANK YOU UC Davis!

Wednesday was our annual Fall Craft Fair with over 15 venders and lots of goodies for the holidays.  This event always does well for the chapter and a mural boost for our employees.  We are extremely fortunate that our administration has continued to support our chapter so openly with this event.

Thursday was the Neglected Children’s Fund Bake sale
Friday was our EMC Halloween Costume Contest

It was a Great Week.
