Chapter Membership

Is inclusive of all of those individuals employed in the field of Human Services who are members in good standing of the National Eligibility Workers Association Professional Association through Human Services.

Purpose:

The Membership Committee members are to act as liaisons between the State Board and our general California State membership. In addition to this, the committee members work with our N.E.W. members who are interested in forming a local chapter, provide assistance ranging from sending packets on how to form a chapter to conducting presentations on N.E.W. and generally being available as resources. An additional goal of the Membership Committee for the year of 2006/2007 is to develop a membership packet, which includes an updated PowerPoint presentation showing the advantages and benefits of membership as well as various handouts. These packets will be available to County Staff Development Personnel as well as any Human Services partners.
